Welcome to the Home Page of Elisa Chiang!
My name's Elizabeth Chiang (last name pronounced "Jiang") but my friends all call me Elisa.
I am a 5th year student at the MSTP program at Case Western Reserve
University. That means I'm in my third year of graduate school. In the end, I'll get two degreeds, A MD and a PhD.
The PhD will be in Neurosciences. To learn more about the MSTP program at case, go to
Case MSTP Website. You can see my publications
here.
I did my undergraduate work at Caltech concentrating by Engineering and Applied Science degree on Computation and Neural Systems.
While I was there I was a member of Blacker Hovse
and Fleming Hovse.
I currently spend most of my time in lab, working out, horseback riding, working on crafts, or researching stocks.
I've just started learning about investing and have been reading books like Peter Lynch's One Up on Wall Street,
Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Warren Buffet Way, and things written by the Motley Fool. I still stay involved in photography,
and do more sewing/crocheting/knitting instead of drawing/painting these days.

I finally entered the digital age with a digital camera (Canon G3) in 2003. When I realized I was spending
enough money on developing film as it would cost to get a camera, Nathan got me the camera as an anniversary gift.
(Okay, so really I bought the camera and it counted twoards my anniversary gift.) Therefore, there are TONS of
pictures. Jason Barnes let me use his program to make webpages with thumbnail picks. A lot of the pictures need
to be rotated, but due to sheer volume, it'll probably take forever for me to rotate all the pictures that need rotating (and not exactlty high on my priority list). But I do put up pictures fairly regularly.
Most of the pictures are my own. You are welcome to use them for your own personal use but not for comercial use, or
anything else that generates any money/fame/glory. I'm hoping one day to build up my reputation as a photographer after all.
Enjoy!
Interests
So I don't really use that many websites when it comes to my interests. But when I think of something to add, I will.
