The Arena

Although not as big as the coliseum in Rome, the arena in Verona
is the largest one which actually survives. They still play operas here in the summer.

The Roman Theater

There is another roman amphitheater in Verona, much smaller than the arena,
but prettier. Its set backs onto the river which winds through Verona.
